I am a computational oceanographer studying how physical ocean dynamics shape marine planktonic communities across coastal, shelf, and basin-scale environments. My work integrates field observations, shipboard and autonomous-platform datasets, satellite products, imaging systems, and machine-learning workflows to understand ecological variability that is difficult to capture with any single observing approach.

At Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, I use high-resolution observations and deep learning approaches to study plankton community variability on the Northeast U.S. Shelf. I also develop data-processing tools, quality-control workflows, and interactive dashboards that make complex ocean observing datasets easier to explore, synthesize, and use during field operations.
